He has operated at national and transnational levels, combining regulatory, law enforcement, and advisory experience. He has proven ability to lead teams, manage complex investigations, and deliver strategic outcomes in high-pressure environments.

In his current role as Director of Investigations at Intelligent Sanctuary, he oversees investigations, manages client relationships, and ensures high-quality deliverables. Prior to this, he contributed to the company as a Senior Advisor, supporting the development of a technology-focused investigations and asset recovery business model. These roles highlight his transition into consultancy and leadership within the private sector, applying his extensive regulatory and investigative skillset to commercial and strategic contexts.

His time at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) demonstrated significant leadership in financial crime supervision and intelligence. He led major AML reviews of UK banks, managed intelligence systems, contributed to FATF evaluation work, and served as MLRO. He played a key role in regulatory engagement, risk assurance programmes, and collaboration with national agencies such as the NCA and international partners, showcasing both operational and strategic influence in the UK’s financial crime framework.

Earlier in his career, he built a strong investigative foundation within Specialist Crime Departments of the Metropolitan Police and National Crime Squad (pre-cursor to the National Crime Agency), leading complex fraud and money laundering cases, including several high-profile organised crime investigations. He also worked internationally on ground-breaking grand corruption and asset recovery initiatives. This law enforcement background underpins his expertise in using and manging financial intelligence, and regulatory compliance, supported by specialised training and working on projects requiring the highest government-level security clearance.
